Brashear faced LaPlata Saturday afternoon in the Class 1 District 10 semi-final game. The two teams traded runs in the 1st, but LaPlata added 3 in the 3rd, 4 in the 4th, and 3 in the 5th to advance to the district title game with an 11-1 win. Averi Acton singled and tripled for Brashear, Hannah Grissom doubled, and Alexa Higgins singled. Averi Acton got the start, giving up 5 earned runs and striking out 4. The Lady Tigers ended their season with a record of 12 wins and 7 loses.
